Swim Coach

Position:  ​​​CHC is looking to hire an enthusiastic, organized individual with proficiency in stroke mechanics, the ability to motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels!

​Qualifications: 

• ​Prior swim team coaching experience 
• Competitive swim team experience
• Must have completed a high school education.

Responsibility:  

• To plan and direct organized practices based on the CHC Swim team program. Evening practice sessions must be included at least twice a week and all practices are to focus on team building and correct execution of all swim strokes. 
• To organize and recruit swimmers to a pre-competitive practice to be held 2 times per week during 8 & under practice, if there are eligible club members.
• To organize and direct stroke clinics in conjunction with Ribbon races held Wednesdays in July. 
• To encourage attendance at Invitational Meets (at least two per season) and attend Invitational Meets as CHC Swim Coach.

• To attend all practices, meets, and meetings as directed by the CHC Board of Trustees and NJSDC. 
• Responsible for tracking and posting results and improvements after each meet.

Practice Schedule
​PRACTICES ARE HELD MONDAY - FRIDAY
June 4th - First day of afternoon practices
4:00pm - 4:45pm  -  8/Unders
4:45pm - 5:30pm  -  9-12 year olds
5:30pm - 6:30pm  -  13 and older
June 25th - First day of morning practices
9:15am - 10:45am  -  13 and older
10:45am - 11:45am  -  9-12 year olds
11:45am - 12:30pm  -  8/Unders
Evening Practice - Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Championship weekend is July 27 and 28 at Cedar Hill Swim Club
Conferences will be held on Tues/Wed July 31 &  Aug 1 at Frog Hollow Swim Club
