MAINTENANCE MANAGER

  1. Overall responsibility for preventative maintenance and break/fix of CHC equipment.
  2. Monitor and immediately report any serious problems with the facility or pools to the Operations Manager on duty and Pools & Grounds chairpersons. Complete any emergency maintenance as required for the safe and orderly functioning of Cedar Hill Club.
  3. Maintain the CHC facility in working order and in adherence to all governmental safety standards.
  4. Insure proper training of Operations personnel in the use of the Club’s equipment
  5. Assist in achieving club readiness for Opening Day and Closing/Winterization. This includes attending pre and post season work weekends.
  6. Maintain aesthetic appearance of CHC’s pools & grounds.
  7. Coordinate with and supervise CHC vendors on any maintenance required. Vendors should only be engaged with the knowledge and approval of the Pools & Grounds chairpersons.
  8. Coordinate purchase of supplies, as needed for the maintenance of CHC, with Pools & Grounds chairpersons for budgetary reasons. Maintain adequate records and receipts of same.
  9. Use of personal vehicle to pick up/drop off purchases, equipment, supplies, including grill/propane tanks and small fuel canisters as needed.  
  10. Proactively generate and prioritize a list of recommended projects to be completed by Pools & Grounds. Time and cost estimates should be provided.
  11. Attend designated meetings as requested by the Board of Trustees.
  12. Provide a summary of completed maintenance tasks and projects to Pools and Grounds chairpersons – via cloud-based form (i.e Google Sheets, One Drive, etc)
  13. All hours worked must be entered on CHC’s time management system.
  14. Be “on call” during CHC’s peak utilization days (i.e. Festivity Days.)
  15. Ability to respond to urgent needs within 24 hours.
  16. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  17. Valid driver’s license.
  18. Must agree to a criminal background check.  

Work Hours & Compensation

  1. Estimated to be 10-15 hours/week.
  2. $20-25/hour – commensurate with experience.
  3. Flexible schedule – to be negotiated with Pool Manager and
