Lifeguard Position 

Position:  Lifeguard 
 
Qualifications:

• Possess Lifeguard Certification by the American Red Cross. 

 
Responsibilities: 

• Prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness until EMS personnel take over. 
• Enforce The Cedar Hill Club Rules
• Help maintain cleanliness of facility.
• Assist in working special events.

Application Deadline:  June 20th

The Cedar Hill Club will offer an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification & Training for prospective employees on June 6 & 7 2026.
Full Lifeguard Certifcation Course:

• Date: Saturday, June 6th - Sunday, June 7th 
• Time: 9AM start, both days
• Eligibility: Open to members and their children, aged 15 years or older as of class date who have applied to CHC (go to the website, click on "Home", then "Job Opportunities")
• Cost: $225 with a $100 refund after completing 6 shifts at CHC
• Registration: First come, first served limited to 10 spots
  

Lifeguard Re-Certification Course:

• Date: Sunday, June 7th
• Time: 1PM
• Eligibility: Existing CHC guards with expired certifications
• Cost: $115 - guards will be paid for hours worked reducing the cost to $30-$36 
• Registration: First come, first served limited to 10 spots
